Ralph W. Barton
Ralph W. Barton, 94, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 in Arlington Heights, IL. He was born May 13, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to Ralph and Eva Barton. Ralph served in the US Navy during WWII and upon returning home attended Ohio State University, where he met and married the love of his life, Margie Dorr Barton. Ralph and Margie had been Libertyville residents for the past 67 years and enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, sailing, "The Buckeye" and spending time with their family. They enjoyed vacationing to their winter home on Captiva Island, FL and had been active members of the Captiva Yacht Club and Captiva Cove. Ralph's career in accounting and finance led to ownership in C.M. Products, Inc. in Lake Zurich, IL where he spent 20 years manufacturing aluminum foil containers, metal bakeware and plastic food packaging. He will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew him.

Surviving is his son, Rick (Barb) Barton; son-in-law, Dave Blough; 5 grandchildren, Jenny (Johnathan Calfee) Barton, Rick (Bailey) Barton, Amy (John) Cops, Brian (Marcy) Blough and Ric (Dannell) Blough; 7 great-grandchildren, Madeline and Henry Calfee, Sarah and Meghan Cops and Jake, Luke and Peyton Blough.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie on July 10, 2015; and by his daughter, Marsha Blough. Due to the current health guidelines, a future memorial service will be held in Florida.
